Children Sunday School

The goal of our Sunday School for preschool and elementary children is to teach them great Bible stories as a way to nurture them in the Christian faith.  We believe the foundation laid in these early years is essential to their growth. We seek to provide a place where children feel they belong and are important to the life of our church family. 

Nursery: Nursery care givers participate in the nurture of the youngest children by providing a secure and loving environment as a beginning church experience.

Threes & Fours: Curriculum and hands on activities teach Old and New Testament Bible stories.  The life of Jesus is explored with emphasis on Jesus teaching of God's great love.

Kindergarten - Second Grade: Children learn from a curriculum that helps them know our loving God, grow in vibrant faith, and show God's love to others.

Third - Fifth Grade: This class uses a Sunday school curriculum that gives them a strong biblical foundation, helps them grow in their faith, and works with their unique learning styles.

VBS is always a fun time at Second Pres! Every summer we set off on a fun filled adventure to learn about our faith in exciting and creative ways.  Look for announcements at the beginning of each summer with details to help you prepare for what's to come.
